Gossips in our Communities
Ghana is a society where everybody knows everybody. In our local communities your problem is my problem and the community expects it members to live an almost perfect life. The educated are seen as the guardian of community morals and the uneducated are seen as the trouble makers. This particularly reflects in how they expect people to live their lives. It is amazing but people are judged differently and how one person may be criticised over an issue may not be the same for another person even though the magnitude of the offen are very similar. We have an interesting way of gossiping, if the supposed deed is the first time it perpetrator is doing it is met with some huge surprise and an active and focused attention from people ready to listen to it to the very last. Another interesting thing about the gossiping is along the story telling the gossiping tend to be the moral judges and suggests the better way they think it should have been done Ghana is certainly a beautiful place to h
